Our History
FRI, S.A. de C.V. was founded in 1978 in the city of Monterrey, N.L., by engineer Óscar Francisco Vázquez Elizondo to create a Mexican company dedicated to the import and commercialization of world-class products, offering solutions that assure optimal functionality in its industrial processes and everything related to sealing and pumping systems such as mechanical seals, 100% expanded PTFE tape, exfoliated graphite for high temperatures, gaskets, O-rings, FDA sanitary gaskets, cartridge mechanical seals and sealing technology for high pressures.
FRI, S.A. de C.V., along with other trading companies in Peru and Chile, formed a business group with the support of Industrias Vago de México, S.A. DE C.V., manufacturer of VAZEL mechanical seals.
